Welcome to my homepage!
I am Shangruo Sun, an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and Technology at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
Before entering UCAS, I studied at The First High School of Central China Normal University, where I developed an interest in physics and won the Second Prize in the Provincial Physics Olympiad. Ironically, college physics later became one of the subjects that kept reminding me how difficult curiosity can be.
🧠Research Interests
Driven by curiosity, I first explored computer vision and deep learning. The rapid rise of large language models also sparked my interest in natural language processing. I am fortunate to have met Prof. Fei Sun and to be working with the STAR Group, where I focused on hallucination, uncertainty estimation, and the reliability of large language models. In fact, this experience is teaching me what research truly means and how to be a good researcher. Even as AI advances rapidly, I still have faith in human curiosity, creativity, and intelligence.
🌱 Beyond Academics
Outside academics, I enjoy badminton, dance, and food hunting. I have also recently started exploring fitness, tennis, and cycling, although I am still very much a beginner in all three.
